Today I would like to give you an idea about how to do a gift box for a band-it! bracelet.
This time the thema is under the sea. I had fish beads that my son won one day, I don’t remember where. Well these beads didn’t have a great success with him of course, so I did put them in a drawer and forgot about it until today.
Aujourd’hui, je vous propose un bracelet Band-it! avec sa boite cadeau et un petit décor autour.
Mon fils avait un jour il y a longtemps, gagné des perles en forme de poissons. N’ayant aucun attrait pour lui, je les avait rangées dans un tiroir et ne les avait ressorties depuis…jusqu’à aujourd’hui.
It will be soon the birthday of one of my little cousin. She is very girly. So I made a « under the sea » bracelet with the looms ( band it kit from Joy!crafts) and I did a nice gift box to put it in.
Ce sera bientôt l’anniversaire d’une petite cousine. Elle est très fifille. J’ai dons réalisé un bracelet sur le thème de la mer et j’ai réalisé la boite comme suit:
Here is how I made the box:
I did cut the shape that you can see above on a blue metallic paper. Then I did crease the lines around the central square.I did cut some transparent sheet14cm x 7 cm and I fold it at 7cm wide. I did stamp it with the clear stamp « under the sea » in stazon. I glue the transparent behind the 1cm sides. So you have now 2 faces of the box that will stay straight. For the top of the box, I did cut in the blue paper again a 8,2 x 8,2cm square and I fold at 1cm of each side. I decorated the top of the box with a shell (2 die cuts of shell) and put a white bead inside. Finally I did add a white ribbon at the bottom of the box.
J’ai d’abord découpé les contours de la forme ci-dessus dans du papier bleu métallisé. J’ai ensuite marqué les plis autour du carré central. Ensuite, j’ai découpé dans du rodhoid un rectangle de 14cmx7cm et j’ai marqué le pli au milieu. J’ai tamponné le transparent avec les tampons Joy crafts « under the sea » et je l’ai collé à l’arrière des cotés mesurant 1cm de haut. Ce qui me donne 2 face accollée non mobiles et 2 faces bleus mobiles.
J’ai découpé un carré de 8,2cmx8,2cm pour le couvercle et marqué un pli à 1 cm du bord. Ensuite, j’ai découpé et collé mon couvercle comm d’habitude. Je l’ai décoré avec un coquillage (die « under the sea ») découpé 2 fois et mis une perle autocollante à l’intérieur.
For the boats, I did the traditional boat folding we did learn at school. I did had trinkets and I made some with the « under the sea » Lin & lene dies from Joy!crafts (Love these dies, the seahorse is soooo cute!). The mast is made with a toothpick.
Pour les bateaux, rien de sorcier, j’ai repris le pliage appris à l’école primaire (il y a longtemps…) et j’ai rajouté des décors réalisés pour la plupart avec les dies Lin & Lene deJoy!crafts.
